Laguna Beach House is a dog friendly hotel

Bring your furry friends when staying at Laguna Beach House!

Any dog-lover will agree that our four-legged friends are most definitely part of the family!
At Laguna Beach House, we invite your pups (40 lbs and under) to stay with you!
We know they enjoy the beach as much as you do and we love having them as our guests.
Please note – there is a $50 non-refundable pet deposit due upon check-in.

There are many places to visit with your dog, some of which are walking distance from our dog friendly hotel in Laguna Beach.
Here is a list of some of our favorite places where our guests can take their four legged travelers:

Restaurants:

Zinc Café & Market
This Breakfast & Brunch location has all of our guests barking! Stop by for a meal on the patio with your furry traveler before enjoying everything Laguna Beach has to offer.

Madison Square & Garden Café
For great ambience while you dine, come visit Madison Square & Garden Café. The adorned Garden is mentioned just as often talked about as their tasty omelets, pancakes and salads. Not only is it dog friendly, but the menu, the unique decoration & friendly staff make this a top Laguna Beach pick! Stop by for lunch or breakfast.

Taco Loco
Tacos. Need we say more? Taco Locos offers your traditional tacos as well as seafood favorites. Grab a seat outside with your dog and let the taco magic happen.

The Cliff
Fans of The Cliff rave about the impeccable view of the coast from the patio and their Happy Hour. Settle in with your canine companion and chow down on shrimp, calamari or steak while watching the Sunset.

Beaches:

There are a few beaches in Laguna Beach that allow dogs to play, but each have their own rules about leashes and seasons for dog visitors. We’ve picked a few here that are close, but you can also see the full information on the Dog Friendly beaches in Orange County.

Dana Point Headlands Beach
This dog friendly beach allows you and the pup to visit as long as your dog is leashed. Even though the city is being developed nearby, it still has a feeling of seclusion and perfect for an afternoon beach day.

Laguna Beach – Various location
Generally, Laguna Beaches are dog friendly, with a few exceptions. Just be mindful of the rules and have a leash on hand. Laguna Beach has a few locations that aren’t dog friendly including Thousand Steps Beach, Totuava and Crystal Cove State Park are areas of the beach that do not permit dogs. And with this beach, dogs aren’t allowed on the beach from 9am to 6pm, during peak summer months: June 15h through September 10th.

Huntington Dog Beach
Huntington Dog Beach is Dog Friendly 100% of the year and although the signs read that a 6-foot leash is required, the locals find that only unchecked dogs will get cited. The locals also recommend checking out the Park bench Café while you are here to grab a bite with your dog after the beach.

Parks:

There are plenty of dog friendly parks that don’t have beaches, but these fun locations have guests and locals barking for more.

Laguna Beach Dog Park
This fun park is open Thursday through Tuesday, the days off give the city a chance to maintain the grounds. They ask that aggressive dogs stay home, so bring your dog and hang out with Orange County resident and their pooches.

Boarding and Grooming:

If you are hitting Laguna Beach to see the sites and landmarks and your dog cannot join, boarding for the day or grooming can be done.

Dog Ranch Bed & Biscuit
With a Pooch Pool, Overnight Boarding and Spa Grooming all in one location, the Dog Ranch Bed & Biscuit will keep Fido entertained and safe while you do can enjoy Laguna Beach with peace of mind. The Dog Ranch is closed on Sundays.
